WPB Library Foundation Hosts Most Successful
Food for Thought Dinner

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (November 6, 2023) – Two-hundred donors and supporters of the West Palm Beach Library Foundation enjoyed an elegant, entertaining evening at the annual Food for Thought Dinner, November 4, at the Norton Museum of Art. The fundraiser was the Foundation’s most successful to date, raising more than $330,000 for vital community programming.

 

This year’s Chair and Platinum Benefactor was Melissa Sullivan. The Leadership Giving of the 2023 Food for Thought Dinner included Grand Benefactor the Honorable Ann W. Brown, Benefactor Beverly Myers, Corporate Benefactors Levenger, Raptis Rare Books and Yvel and Honorary Co-Chairs Dianne and Abe Bernstein.

 

The evening’s guests also enjoyed “An Evening with Carl Hiaasen”, renowned journalist and author, whose humor-filled keynote speech had the crowd roaring with laughter.

 

This year’s FFT Committee Members included Dianne Bernstein, the Honorable Ann W. Brown, Margaret Moraskie, Beverly Myers, Diane Myers, Adrienne Raptis and Julie Rudolph.

 

Table Hosts included Ambassador Nancy Brinker, Steven Caras, Leta Austin Foster, Paul Gervais, David McClymont, Joseph and Max McNamara, Nabil Meralli, Dr. John Merey, Daphne Nikolopoulos, Michael Reiter, Rob Russell, Ricky Wade, David Walker, Bryan Walsh, John Webley, Sybille Welter, David Willson, and Christopher Young.

 

While conversing with their chosen host about topics from venture capital to celebrity stories, guests dined on a Sparkling Mimosa Salad, and entrée choices of Harvest Local Farm Raised Chicken or Burgundy Braised Short Ribs, followed by Chocolate Souffle Cake.
