West Palm Beach Library Foundation Announces $250,000

Grant From Stacy & Keith Palagye Foundation

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (February 25, 2026) The West Palm Beach Library Foundation is pleased to announce a generous $250,000 grant from the Stacy and Keith Palagye Foundation. This significant investment will support the renovation of the Mandel Public Library’s Teen Center and the expansion of the Mandel Mobile program. These two cornerstone initiatives broaden access and opportunities for young people throughout the community.

Library Foundation Board Chair Margaret Moraskie expressed deep appreciation for the gift, noting: “Stacy Mandel and Keith Palagye’s generosity is an investment in possibility. By strengthening two vital pillars of our mission—creating inspiring spaces for teens and extending access beyond our walls—they are helping ensure that every young person has the support, resources, and encouragement to thrive. We are profoundly grateful for their leadership and their commitment to keeping our programs free and accessible to all.”

·         Teen Center Renovation: Funds will enable a full redesign of the Teen Center, transforming it into a modern, welcoming environment for local youth. Enhancements will include upgraded academic resources, a dedicated Sam Dratch Teen Homework Center, and flexible creative spaces equipped with art supplies, pop‑up crafting stations, and technology to support innovative projects.

·         Mandel Mobile Expansion: Over the next two years, this investment will expand the Mandel Mobile program, enabling the library to deliver books, learning tools, and educational resources directly to underserved neighborhoods and families who may not be able to visit the library in person.

Stacy Mandel shared: “Both Keith and I are passionate about programs that help the youth in our communities succeed. The Teen Center and Mandel Mobile will be able to reach many young people in our area, especially those in underserved neighborhoods.”

Library Foundation CEO Dean Dimke added: “This gift allows us to strengthen what happens inside the library while expanding our reach beyond it. We are grateful for the Palagyes’ vision and commitment to our community.”

The West Palm Beach Library Foundation remains dedicated to partnering with community leaders who believe in the transformative power of education, literacy, and access—ensuring the Mandel Public Library continues to be a place where opportunity is open to all.
