WPB Library Foundation Hosts Second Annual Yacht Cruise and Dream Auction
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (April 28, 2023) – The West Palm Beach Library Foundation hosted its Second Annual Yacht Cruise and Dream Auction on Sunday, April 16 aboard the historic Mariner III. Approximately 70 guests enjoyed a relaxing afternoon cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway while they bid on unique auction items like a behind-the-scenes museum tour, a polo lesson by a US Open winning player, and an architecture and art tour of a historic Washington DC residence.
Leading the planning of this extraordinary event were Co-Chairs Margaret Moraskie and Dr. Mary Ann DuPont. They were assisted by Honorary Auction Chair Pamela Slotkin, and Honorary Media Chair Daphne Nikolopoulos. Unique auction experiences were donated by Florida Crystals, the Frisbie Group, Palm Beach Illustrated, the Norton Museum of Art, Palm Beach Symphony, The Honorable Ann W. Brown, and Tarpon Lodge.

More than $50,000 was raised at the event to support the life-impacting and educational programs, services, and resources that the Mandel Public Library makes available to the community, at no cost to individuals and families. The foundation is supporting our community, one person at a time.
The event was catered by the staff of the Mariner III, with full bar service and passed appetizers: Shrimp Cocktail with spicy Cocktail Sauce; Coconut Chicken with Orange and Mango Salsa; Gruyere and Tomato Tarts; Bruschetta with Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil; Tuna Tartare Canapes; Pigs in a Blanket with spicy Mustard; Scallops wrapped in Applewood Bacon with Orange Horseradish Sauce; and Beef Sliders.
